Frisian Flag 2010
At April 12 the international exercise Frisian Flag will start at Leeuwarden AB. This year 7 air forces will participate in the exercise. A total of more than 50 aircraft will stay at Leeuwarden during two weeks.

The participating aircraft are: Norwegian F-16's, six Polish F-16's, a total of 18 Dutch F-16's from various squadronds, German F-4F Phantoms, American F-15's, Finnish F-18's, Swedish Saab Gripens and a Norwegian Falcon 20. In the second week there will be also a Dutch C-130 Hercules participating in the exercise. The exercise will end on April 23. During this exercise in Germany will be an exercise to: Brilliant Ardents. Thats the reason why the aircraft in the exercise Frisian Flag only fly in the Dutch Air Space.


The last edition of the Frisian Flag was in 2009. In that edition 3 air forces participate and a private company with Learjets. A photoreport of the 2010 edition will be published at the end of the second week from the exercise.
